Coding between the years and "inventing" a new TikTok Style for myself.
and between the years I am able to pull out my Mac for some proper coding. I improve the LifeUpdate App especially in the onboarding. People now are reminded to turn on their notifications if they have not already done so. And I tried out a little animation with https://lottiefiles.com/. It is a small video button that fills itself, just like in the app when you wait for uploading a new video. Makes fun trying new stuff. I furthermore removed some bottom sheet logic and replaced them with proper pages. Trying out the app on a real phone showed that handling all those bottom sheets popping up to e.g. manage groups feels weird. I will probably copy a lot of logic from WhatsApp now.
And the app now has a profile section. Apple requires you to allow your user to delete their profiles entirely. So to get one step closer to making the app store review, I implemented this. It needed some database brain fuck and logic to make it work, but I got it done that everything is deleted in a cascading way if a user deletes his profile and the groups the user owned are passed on to the longest member of the group.

just got 1.300 view and more than 80 likes which is my best performing TikTok. I am curious how the new font style of videos will perform in the upcoming videos and if this is a Trend. And I have now sold 20 postcards, but other than I hoped people are not scanning the qr codes on the back of the postcards to be forwarded to my shop and buy real pictures. But I will not give up. I already have a new idea how I could sell prints. Will tell you about it once I have executed on it because I have a feeling of not doing stuff once I write it down here in advance.
This week was my Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung due, so this means some work assigning invoices to turnovers taking some time. And I am in Grindelwald skiing and enjoying outdoors, so more of a break time, that I also want to envy. But also already looking ahead to getting into the rythm of creating and working again back in munich. But being away also means long drives where I may get some lines of code in while my girlfriend drives.
