In the first half of the week I didn’t even think I would be able to write about anything I did. The week was packed with going to the gym, team events & a halloween party in the office. But comes friday, I actually developed some things. If I think about it, I failed to develop some things. Here is what I do: I write this blog articles in my payloadcms admin. Inside payloadcms´ richtext editor and load this text in my blog with their library for rich text. So far so good. But I wanted to copy a script of mine about the webscraper into one article and display it as a code block. But it did partou not work. I would have needed to rewrite all my blog articles in markdown and parse that in my blog with the help of a markdown library. That would have been the better approach in the first place, but for now I am stuck with the richtext editor of payloadcms. Anyways. My fotoprintshop has a FAQ page now:

That one is really basic. Since I do not have a CMS besides shopify itself for this project I just created a constants file that includes the questions & answers. I tried with some metafields, pages, etc in shopify, but in the end it didn’t work. That means adapting the file and rebuilding the page if I want to change something in the FAQs. But for now that should be ok. I have no visitors anyways. Speaking of that. I now want to change this. I wrote 45 cafés & restaurants over instagram this text:

Ihr könnt direkt im Shop stöbern, genau auswählen welche Größe der Print haben soll und weitere passende Fotos aus der Kollektion hinzufügen. Alles wird direkt zu euch geliefert wie man das halt vom online shopping kennt. Ich freue mich über jeden Besuch in meinem Shop und wünsche euch weiter eine erfolgreiche Zeit! Let’s see if my use case of these venues needing an easy way to buy fotoprints turns out to be an actual one. Next week I want to write 20-40 hotels & airbnbs. If no one buys in a few weeks I can save the 33€ shopify costs me every month. Oh, and I added two more collections to my shop:
