On a business trip.
This week I am in Berlin for a business trip which puts me in a new situation with my personal projects.
I feel a little stressed out. I will be in Berlin for my normal work from Wednesday till Friday and on Friday evening friends will already come to go to the mountains skiing. For the entire next week. What shall I post then? Today is Monday. I will create one TikTok today. On Tuesday I will as well. That means from Wednesday on I have 4 ready made spare videos, one week overview that is already filmed but needs to be cut and one week overview that I can surely film on travels as well. That would leave me with no video from Tuesday the week of my skiing holiday until Sunday. Meaning I would need to preproduce 6 videos. I don’t know if I can do that. But we will see.
A new idea
It is Tuesday. Still feeling a little stressed, but I can only do so much. Writing this down already helps me a lot. But back to the new idea. I will try to build a snail post club with my postcards. People will be able to sign up via Patreon and will receive three postcards every month via mail to send them to friends or hang them on their wall. Here is a rough estimate what this will cost me and what the subscription then will be:
100 pcs per photo are 22,93€ on 400g recycling paper. This paper is a little better quality than the 300g recycling paper I had before. This means 0,2293€ per piece. Three postcards in each package equals 0,6879€. 100 envelopes cost 16,99 which means 0,1699€ per envelope. I want to place a business card into the package as well which makes an additional 0,2922€ and I would love to add a sticker from another artist to it. That makes 1,517 per piece. Last but not least I want to add a personal note. This would make 27,63/250 = 0,11052€ each. Plus international shipping: 1,80€
All in all my base material price would be: 4,68804 rounded 4,70€
Adding a margin of 70% would mean the membership to my snail mail service would cost exactly 7,99€ Which is a cool price I feel like. But I might do 8,99€

Working from a hotel room
From Wednesday to Friday I am on a business trip. But I still managed to record one small 7sec TikTok and cut one more. Tomorrow I want to try to get up at 6 again to get more done. I need to cut all my TikToks before my skiing trip. And in the last minutes I sent out my newsletter. Now I have to hurry to get to the office!
